This position is as a receptionist at a doctor’s office. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting in check-in and check-out processes, including verifying patients’ information and making sure it is accurate and up to date. As a receptionist, the employee will be the first contact with the patients, providing a warm welcome, while remaining courteous and professional. Other duties also include administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry. The receptionist must handle patient information with confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations to protect the patients’ privacy. This job requires the ability to multi-task, while remaining calm and professional, in the fast-paced environment of a medical office during clinic on Mondays through Wednesdays.
